London

We caught the 9.40am train from Poole into London a 2hr ride. It was the perfect time to catch up on my Blog as I seem to have been 2 or 3 days behind from day one.

By mid-day we were in London with 26deg of unfresh hot air even the cup of tea seems to have scum on top. We left our bags at our Bermondsey apartment as it was too early to check in then took a walk to the Borough Market. Such an amazingly huge food market where we picked up a bit of lunch and one or two supplies. We then organised the Oyster cards for our tube rides, found Sainsburys to set ourselves up for brekky etc. By then we were able to check into our great little studio apartment room. That was the end of anymore exploring for the day. It was hot and we were tired so we spent the last part of our day with maps and info on London making a plan for our next 3 days. We won't even scratch the surface but we'll get the feel of the place again after 40yrs. I'm certainly seeing London through different eyes this time around.
