After 5 nights at our little cottage here in Golant it was time to say goodbye to Debbie our host who looked after us so well. She is a journalist for 5 papers, marriage celebrant and also studying to be a private detective.
We set off and travelled on the motorway through to Welford in Avon near Stratford about a three and a half hour trip with a stop for a quick break.
About mid afternoon we arrived at our accommodation which is quite the opposite to our last place. There is certainly a lot more wealth in this part of the UK judging by the beautiful huge houses. We have the whole area above the owners garage on the left of the picture, a great space with a full kitchen, king bed, bathroom, couch and table as well as the use of the owners washing machine. They are lovely people and have given us a list of the must dos in the area. It's such a treat to have parking space at your back door after the tight and hard to find spaces in Cornwall. Our first job was to find a supermarket and stock up on a few supplies for some home cooking.
